Still Not Convinced You Need a New Business Card Design?
Give us one last chance to try and convince you on this! When it comes to networking, establishing new customers, or forming new partnerships, there are two important questions to ask yourself:
- How can you make a strong first impression?
- How can you stay top-of-mind afterward?
While how you present yourself and the strength of your elevator pitch are very important to making a memorable first impression, your business cards are even more critical.
Business cards act as a physical reminder of your interaction. According to a study conducted by the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, auditory recognition memory is inferior to visual recognition memory. Therefore what you say is much less important than your overall visual presentation.
Your business card is part of your visual presentation. More than that, it is a piece of your presentation that someone will walk away with, and it there acts as a strong visual reminder. However, if you go with the standard 3.5 in x 2 in business card, you may just be remembered as average. The best way to stay top-of-mind and make an optimal impression is by being bold and breaking free from the norm. So seriously, try a creating a cool business card!
